A friend of mine was telling me that for a first date he really likes to impress the lady...especially if it is someone that he is very interested in. I was trying to tell him that sometimes fancy dates are not all the great. Yeah, you get dressed up and go to a really nice resteraunt..blah blah blah blah. I would much rather have a date with a guy that I can just be me. Yes I can get dressed up and look pretty darn awesome...but the everyday me would rather do something more casual. That does not mean that I am going to show up in ragged shorts and a baggy Tshirt. But I would rather watch a football game together...have a great game of poker (loser has to kiss the winner)....go to the beach and play in the waves together. I guess to me the most important part of the date is the connection. you know what I mean..you are walking side by side and your hands just keep touching...until the guy just knows..yep I need to hold her hand. The sly glances that clearly say..YES there will be a kiss at the end of this date...and most certainly a NEXT date. I just kind of find that hard to do in a dimlit quiet fancy resteraunt.
