Why i hate gym. I notice so many people that go to the gym everyday and absolutely hate it. I ask, why do you go if you hate working out? And the response is always, "I need to stay active and get in shape." I don't understand that... how do people expect to get healthy and stay that way if they are doing something they hate? Me personally, I don't like working out, and I HATE running. I do it twice a week though because I'm an avid motocrosser and it helps me out on the track. What am I getting at? Instead of spending time at a gym that you hate, try to find a hobby that takes some physical fitness. May not be for everyone, but it may be what some of you people need. Try bicycling, swimming, wake boarding, tennis, basketball, archery, golf, or anything that gets the blood pumping. motocross maybe? Many of you may not know but motocross is proven to be the most aerobic sport in the world. A great family sport that motivates most enthusiasts to improve many different aspects of their health and life in general.
I dunno, maybe this is a dumb post to many of you, but just a thought I wanted to throw out there. There's more ways of staying in shape than going to a crowded gym that may make some of you feel really uncomfortable.
Just to let some of you guys know, I'm no hardcore health fanatic. I'm Dutch, so fried foods have never been a real big part of my diet, but I don't avoid them, I eat a lot and what I want, don't count calories, and still I'm in good shape. High metabolism. Some of you may not have that luxury, but it's something that can be worked on. |
