6 billion people, 3 billion females. So there are 3 billion females roughly. OKAY! About 300 million people live in USA, so about 5% of the world's population. Therefore there are about 150 million girls in the USA. I only use the USA because it is practical. Now of these 150 million ladies, if we divide up these women into AGE BRACKETS in multiples of 8 years (I would date a woman between the ages of 21-29 ideally.) There will be about 10 age brackets, and thus ROUGHLY 15 million ladies in MY age bracket. I will go out on a limb and say about 25% of these females in MY AGE BRACKET smoke, and I refuse to date a smoker, so that leaves about 11 million now. Now I will start to get very practical.....

I live in NE Ohio. In my quadrant of Ohio, I spend about 99% of my existence, so therefore we can assume I will most likely only find a woman in this area. Therefore, within a 40 mile radius of myself, less than 1% (only 1/3 of 1%) of available females who DONT SMOKE and ARE IN MY AGE BRACKET are here. After number crunching, that comes out to about 40,000 females. Now out of these females, I would presume 80% (we will continue onto the next point), are currently tied up in a relationship. Therefore that leaves about 5000 females total. Now with my previous point, I would say I would only be attracted to 10% of these females that are available, thus leaving me with 500. So there are 500 females in my age bracket, do not smoke, are attractive in my eyes, and are in my practical vicinity.

Now of these females, I can continue to eliminate.... I do not want children. I would venture to say only 10% (on a good day) of females DO NOT want children, therefore bringing my total down to 50. Of these 50, I only want to date a christian, it is very important to me to grow with God with my significant other. Statisically speaking, for this age bracket, and for females,...I would estimate 50% on a good day would be Christian by my standards. I am down to 25 women now. Of these women, I do not want to date a bimbo, I want to date someone who can challenge me intellectually, who is definitly NOT high maintenence, is the girl-next-door type, who likes the outdoors, would be up for offroading, shooting guns, drinking a beer, bowling, etc. Of these 25, I would venture to say only 5 of them would match that description. 5!

I have gone from 3 BILLION to 5 like nothing!!! Of these 5, WHAT ARE THE CHANCES I WILL EVEN MEET THIS PERSON, TALK TO THEM, THEY FIND ME ATTRACTIVE, AND WE JUST CLICK. I forgot though, they would obviously have to find attraction in me too. I am a bit of a outdoorsy looking guy, scruffy, longish hair. Probably 1 or 2 of these women would find ME attractive at first sight and be willing to progress into talking and eventually something substantial.

I reiterate....What are the chances I will "bump" into the 1 or 2 ladies of my dreams? I could be at one bar, they could be sitting at home watching a movie. I could be pumping gas, they could be driving past me but I would never know. Not only that, but I am not a go-getter. All 3 of my ex'gf's have pursued me. I can change that however! You catch my drift.
