Ok so after ruining my chances of reconciliation by following some dumb advice of "pretty much give him an ultimatum".I decided that i was tired of the whole pretending to be cool crap with and just went NC. Yesterday my mom was going thru the house phone looking for a friend's number and I guess accidentally called his number.

Anyway he called yesterday night, i didn't bother to pick up and he left a voice mail saying "Oh I just saw your missed call. I'm not home yet but you can call me later in like an hr or something. k. bye" and I was irritated like who the hell called him? so I sent him a text stating " I didn't call you"

anyway after I was just screaming in my head "who the <mod edit> called you, you wish I called delusional lunatic"then I asked my sister and then my parents and then my mom told me what happened

anyway after an hr, he sent a text back saying "oh well i got a call from your number and I assumed it was you. Never mind then"


So I don't know whether i should send a text back saying "no mom made a mistake with incoming calls" cos I SO don't want him to think I was being pathetic and calling and pretending like it wasn't me or to just ignore him all together
I didn't respond back yesterday either way so should i still send the message or just let it go and have him think whatever?

I would send a text or whatever and say it was a mistake your mom made. No big deal. end it at that. so he doesn't think it was you being pathetic, because you are not!

Who really cares what he thinks, what you think about your self is all that matters. You sent him a text saying you didn't call him that is the truth and I would leave it at that. I would not explain anything to him.

people want different things sometimes and in those situations when the needs change on one end, you have to let it go or at least in her case, let her go and GROW as a person. And if its in your favor that path will lead back to you.
