in your life if Jesus Christ and you are dating a non-christian you are going to have major issues and heart ache down the road. I dont know if you've noticed but dating has a way of turning into marriage. But what happens when it comes down to how to handle the finances? How to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord? Do you want to take a chance of going through a marriage doing that alone? God knows your heart - he says that even before a word is on your lips he knows it. He knows you inside out and so He is very familiar of the feelings you have for this guy. God has bigger plans - plans you couldn't even imagine for yourself. But part of accepting those plans He has is by giving Him control. I think you KNOW this isn't right - but it's tough to make a decision when your heart is involved right? I just really want to challenge you to re-think your relationship altogether and make a decision about what is most important in your life right now. This boy or your God. I hope you make the right decision. You should know that while I will always be there for you, many people will condone that you are dating a non-Christian. Family and friends you've known for years, and members of the church. We've all been warned ourselves. We've all seen the consequences of what happens. It's fine to be friends with this guy, but the Bible says not to be yoked with unbelievers. So I advise you to get out of this relationship. ((my tears)))

you shouldn't date an unbeliever, but you know this. The question is not whether we know something is wrong or not (although there are some times we may need clarification), but whether we will obey. Also remember, God is not the author of confusion. God is very clear in His word. But what makes it so confusing, agonizing and difficult for us as believers? Our desires, our wants, and our lusts. Not all lusts and desires are bad. But if they war against the truth of God then we must surrender them. When we became Christians, we made a committment to God, to keep His commandments, to obey Him, and to surrender ALL to Him. We can learn a lot about ourselves when we consider what or how much we are willing to surrender to Christ.

For the lips of an immoral woman [man] drip honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil, but in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword, her feet go down to death, her steps lay hold of hell. Lest you ponder her path of life--her ways are unstable; you do not know them. Therefore, hear me now my children, and do not depart form the words of my mouth. Remove your way far from her, and do not go near the door of her house. Lest you give your honor to others, and your years to the cruel one. Lest aliens be filled with your wealth and your labors go to the house of a foreigner. And you mourn at last when your flesh and your body are consumed
