A lot of what you have said has very very little to do with the fact that many men act exactly as the OP described. You're using examples I have not cited. If you call a waitress 'doll face' you're a pig. I would never do it because it is derogatory to the poor girl and you could only say it to a girl.

I think it is a maturity thing. The more mature a woman is the more she knows how to spot and avoid the bad ones. It is also an insecurity thing as a lot of insecure women gravitate toward boastful men who shower them wtih compliments...they dont' know the difference between sincere compliments and a man who is just a huge flirt.

guess it depends on the person and how they feel about it. I know plenty of women whom could care less if a guy called her "dollface". I think they probably realize there are more important things to worry about then to dwell and get pissy over something stupid. I have been to a strip club once because I did not have anywhere else to drink. We talked about star wars.
