hi guys,
I live in a condo that I am looking to sell and the back yard needs some color and help. I am not looking to spend a lot of money, but just enough to help the condo sell. Does anyone have any recommendations on plants that are large and colorful. I want some bush type plants that almost grow out of control if possible.

I'm thinking you want to stage the garden now, since you have your condo for sale. Right now isn't the best time to be planting anything since it would require a good bit of water and TLC to get it started. However, what I would do is get several large pretty pots, fill the bottom with an empty old pot to about hallway up or so, or you can use rocks or just about anything. Get a few larger pots, hanging baskets, whatever, of pretty annuals such as petunias, larger ferns (very pretty) or the kale, maybe a combination and just set them in or around your large pots, water well and voila, a strageticly staged garden. If you condo doesn't sell in the next month to month and a half, consider then buying a few evergreens to plant in the garden to help with the staging over the winter.
