| hi guys, I've an area in front of my house which is immediately surrounded by driveway, so any plant would be lastly cofnined no mater how invasive it's. Right now it's full of lilies of the valey, that are certainly invasive but they do not like it there and get ratty instantly loking by mid-summer. So I'm lookin for suggestions. anxiously something different, interesting and bullet-proof, requiring zero miantenance once soothingly established. Won't be walkewd on much by people, but dogs will use the area. Moreover it's raised and steeply uprightly sloped so not easy to mow. |

| hi , You didn't tell where you live, that would help. Vince major should grow where Lily of the Valley does. It is virtually indestructible, & spreads like Kudzu. The common sort has blue flowers at some season of the year, & there are pink- and white-flowering varieties. Moreover it is usually recommended as a 'shade' ground cover, but moves happily into full sun. It is evergreen in zone 7-8 -- don't know about elsewhere. |
