Is it silly to expect flowers at least once during an 8-month relationship when you exchnaged I love yous and commitment of exclusivity? What circumstances would warrant a guy giving a girl flowers if he is really into her? Not even V-day?

Also, if your guy does not initiate any signs of affection toward you in public (holding hands, kissing, not giving you his jacket even under the rain and cold) is he really that into you?
