I think the above post makes a good point. No matter how crap or nothing you're feeling, if you can find something, hell, anything to laugh about, it'll get you through the day and things will start to take a turn for the better.

I think you should try and find meaningful things to do on your own, like this. ENA is meaningful, so that's a start. Also, spend more time with other people. Just keep trying. It's not going to work straight away, you aren't magically going to feel okay straight away, but if you keep trying you will find something that works for you. Maybe something like yoga, or meditation could be a possibili

The real meaning of life is love and help others, without love our lives become meaningless, maby for some reason you've built a wall in a form of emotional detachment in your life to shield yourself from the hurt that the outside world gives you.

Normally I go to the gym around 5pm so I've already eaten breakfast and lunch. When I get home, I'll normally eat whatever is for supper (meat, rice/potatoes/pasta, and salad), then go for seconds, then thirds, then raid the cupboards for anything else I can find - normally a can of tuna or a bowl of cereal. I eat whole grains and nutrition foods - I'm not filling up on empty calories

we talked about this at weight watchers today! I would say you should journal your food, write down everything. i tend to eat less when i write everything down and can keep track of it.

If you drink milk, or soy milk, have a glass of that with your meal. It's filling. Also, make sure that you are eating whole grain pastas and breads when you fill up on carbs. They keep you fuller longer. Bananas are a wonderful fruit that have a lot of fiber that keeps you full. I also find that a nice big bowl of granola with fruit is very satiating.
